At The Vantage, we thrive to excel by providing quality learning to our students. We do this by offering a modern concept-driven programme, which engages students actively in their own learning, fostering the motivation for each one to fashion his or her own career path from the early years through to high school.

Enquiries for a school place can be made online via the Online Admissions Enquiry Form, which can be accessed via this website. Once an Enquiry is submitted, parents will receive an acknowledgment email from the Admissions Team confirming the application number and the next steps.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Grade Placement:

The Vantage seeks to make the most appropriate grade placement for each student based on his or her age, as well as academic, social, and personality development within policy guidelines. For this reason, new students may be required to complete an appropriate level assessment to determine placement and fit.

Previous Schooling:

All new students must provide official documentation of previous school experience, report cards, and assessment reports. All documents must be provided in English.

Accuracy of Information Provided:

All information provided to THE VANTAGE – A BRITISH CURRICULUM SCHOOL (the “School”) must be true, complete, and not misleading. The parents/guardians of the student(s) (“Parents”) must promptly update the School should any of the submitted details change.

Supporting Documents:

All supporting documents requested during the admissions process must be provided to the School at least 20 days prior to commencement of the relevant academic term. The School reserves the right to withdraw the offer of a place if all supporting documents are not provided within this timeframe.

School Policies:

Parents and students must abide by all School policies, as may be amended from time to time. A current copy of the School’s policies is available upon request.

Entry Assessment:

All new admissions except for Play Group are assessed before enrolment at The Vantage. The objective of the entry assessment is to establish student learning concepts and skills with the student age and study year group. There is a non-refundable nominal fee of PKR 1,000 per student for the entry assessment, which is payable in advance.

School Fee:

Tuition and fees are payable in advance of attendance and are assessed in accordance with the fee structure established by The Vantage and following legal requirements. Tuition and fees are the primary sources of the school’s operating budget, and therefore, prompt payment is necessary to ensure the continuing quality of the school’s programs.

Fee Payment, Registration, and Withdrawal:

  • School fees must be paid on or before the due date of the relevant School term to secure the student’s place at the School.
  • A registration fee of PKR 10,000 is due at the time of application. This processing fee is non-refundable, and non-transferable, however, fully adjustable against the admission fee, tuition fee, etc.
  • School fee payments when becomes due on or before the 7th of each month. A late payment penalty of PKR 1,000 per child per month will be charged in case of non-settlement of school fee by the due date.
  • Failure to pay any School fees may result in the exclusion of the Student from the School.
  • School fees, including but not limited to tuition, admission, registration, re-registration fees (if applicable), and additional Fees may increase at any time in accordance with applicable law and School policies.
  • Parents must give written notice to the Admissions Office thirty (30) days prior to the last day of attendance if the student is withdrawing from the School. In the event of withdrawal, applicable fees/deposits will be refunded in accordance with the School’s fee refund policy.
  • The School may coordinate with a third party transport services provider to provide transport services to students at the School. However, such services are not included in the School fees, and the terms and conditions of such services are to be agreed directly between the parents/guardians and the Transport Service Provider

Parent Instructions to School:

The School may rely solely on instructions from either Parent. If the School
becomes aware of a dispute between the Parents or if the School receives conflicting instructions from the Parents, the School is entitled to rely upon the instructions of the person selected as the Primary Contact in the admissions application. The School will only deviate from this policy if the School is provided with valid evidence and documents in support of the matter.

Provision of Information to Parents:

The School will provide information about the student, including report cards, attendance records, and other items in the student’s file, either to the student or to a Parent. If the School becomes aware of a dispute between the Parents, and to protect the privacy of communications, the School will not share communications between the School and either Parent with the other Parent, unless required to do so by a Court Order.

Medical Liability:

Neither the School nor any of its affiliates, shareholders, directors, employees, consultants or agents will be liable for injury to the student(s) resulting from improper treatment of its medical conditions if the Parents fail to inform the School of such medical conditions in writing or comply with the School’s medical policy or other instructions provided by the School or the Health Office Staff.

Waiver and indemnity:

  • The School or any teachers or officials or voluntary helpers of the School, shall have no responsibility of whatsoever nature in respect of bodily injury to the above child:
  • Prior to the actual delivery of the said child into the custody of the said teachers or officials inside the School, or after the child has been collected from the School grounds by a person authorized by the parent/guardian to do so, on a normal School day.
  • Whilst on School outside the official opening times.
  • At any other time, unless the said child is in the direct custody or control of one of the said teachers whilst on a recognized outing or function arranged by the School.
  • At any other time, unless the said child is in the direct custody or control of one of the said teachers whilst on a recognized outing or function arranged by the School.

Unless the injury is caused by or resulting from:

The negligence of any employee, teacher or other person or persons authorized to act for or on behalf of the School.
Any defect on the premises of the School.

Force Majeure

Sometimes the School will be prevented from providing the Website or the Services
because of circumstances beyond its reasonable control, for example interruptions to internet services, Govt restrictions to hold physical classes, etc, which are outside School’s control or acts of nature. If this happens the School will do its best to provide a reasonable alternative.

Curriculum & Books

  • The School may provide complimentary curriculum books to students in any year subject to clause 2 below. If the student is withdrawn from the school before mid-year during the first year, all books must be returned to the School in fair condition. In case, the books are damaged and maintained beyond standard wear and tear, the security deposit of the student shall be adjusted accordingly to recover the cost of the books. After successful completion of the academic year, the books become the property of the student.
  • The complimentary curriculum shall be provided by the school only in the first year of registration if a student is admitted and registered to the school without a discount to the original fee structure. The parents/guardians of students with a discounted fee structure shall be required to purchase the required curriculum set from the School book shop.

Jurisdiction:

Relevant Pakistani law will apply in these terms and conditions and the relevant courts of the Pakistan will have exclusive jurisdiction.

Severance Clause:

If any of the terms of these terms are found to be illegal the relevant term will be deleted and the rest of the terms will remain unchanged.

In addition, the parents agree to:

  • To indemnify and keep indemnified the said School in respect of any amounts which the said School may pay, in respect of medical or other expenses arising from accidental bodily injury to the said child.
  • To indemnify and keep indemnified the said School in respect of any loss or damage to property belonging to or in the custody or control of the said School caused by the said child.
